Shelter Logistics was established from the need to provide the service and dedication that has long been lacking within the industry. We are a small family owned business that prides ourselves on providing the best possible service at industry comparable rates. With the rapidly-changing landscape and over-saturation of carriers in the transportation industry, we contract carriers that have a reputation for providing only the top-tier services expected of our customer base. We believe it is our responsibility to provide the best possible carrier for your needs.
What we offer.
We offer dry van, flatbed, temperature controlled, roll-tite and straight truck options for all your supply chain needs. Whether your needs are LTL, FTL or expedite service, we will support your requirements at a moment’s notice.
We operate 24 hours a day, 6 ½ days of the week (we take a half day off on Sundays to watch Football). We track and trace shipments, provide regular updates on shipment statuses and will provide last mile delivery updates.
Who we are.
We are Shellie and Terry Sawyer, a husband and wife duo that met, married and grew our family while working in the transportation industry. It has always been our dream to start our own logistics company and have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the industry.
When we aren’t working, you can find us playing baseball, spending time by the pool with our kids or hanging out with our Wheaton Terrier.
